Abstract

В роботі розглянуто один з основних обмежуючих факторів швидкості передачі та довжини регенераційної ділянки волоконно-оптичної системи передачі, який, на сьогоднішній день, порівняно мало вивчений - це поляризаційна модова дисперсія. Показано, що рівень завад залежить від кількості оптичних трактів не лінійним чином, а необхідна кількість трактів – від структурної завантаженості мереж. The paper considers one of the main limiting factors of the transmission rate and the length of the regeneration section of the fiber-optic transmission system, which, to date, is relatively little studied - is the polarization mode variance. It is shown that the level of interference depends not on the number of optical paths in a linear way, and the required number of paths depends on the structural load of the networks.
